Biography
In 2007, Cody joined Sun Coast Partners Commercial and quickly distinguished himself as a top performer. He was elevated to Vice President in 2011 and formed The CRESS Group in 2012. Cody has won the Top Producer Awards multiple times and has been designated Broker of the Year within Sun Coast Partners Commercial almost every year since 2010. Due to his constantly exceptional sales performance, Cody earned Senior Vice President status in 2023 and became a partner in the company in 2024.
Cody graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Engineering. Upon graduation, Cody worked in the environmental consulting industry specializing in air emissions from industrial sources. Cody’s technical expertise and analytical skills contribute to the goals and needs of his clients. His broad experience and knowledge have prepared him to work with a variety of business and property types. However, Cody has a particular interest in industrial, office and investment properties. This background and specialization have provided his clients with superior service and have resulted in efficient and successful transactions.
A native North Carolinian, Cody was born and raised in Sanford in the heart of the state. He is involved with several organizations both professionally and personally including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the NC Certified Commercial Investment Membership (NC-CCIM), the Cape Fear BMW Motorcycle Riders Association, the USTA and the Greater Wilmington Tennis Association. He lives in Wilmington with his wife and twin daughters, and enjoys tennis, fishing, and boating.
