1,000+ acres sold in southern Pender County
Sun Coast Partners Commercial brokers Allan Fox and Glenn Imboden were recently involved in the sale of more than 1,000 acres in southern Pender County, as spotlighted by the Wilmington Business Journal. This significant transaction highlights the dynamic growth in the area, where residential and commercial real estate opportunities are expanding at a rapid pace.
The real estate market in Pender County is thriving more than ever, thanks to the growth of the Porter's Neck and Scotts Hill areas, which have become highly desirable due to their convenient location near Wilmington and inclusion in the coveted Topsail School District. As development continues, the demand for both residential and commercial properties is expected to rise.
Imboden and Fox have partnered with local landowners, including Wilmington-based Trask, to release lots with a long-term approach, ensuring that development is thoughtful and beneficial to the community. These deals have included notable transactions, such as a $5.8 million, 612-acre deal on Island Creek Road and a $6 million, 411-acre deal on Sidbury Road.
Looking ahead, there are exciting opportunities on the horizon. Upcoming purchases could include a large master-planned development, further shaping the future of southern Pender County’s real estate landscape.
